Delta Airlines Might Provide Free In-Flight Wi-Fi Soon

The US airline Delta would reportedly provide free access to in-flight Wi-Fi on a “significant portion” of its planes. According to The Wall Street Journal report, Delta plans to offer the service next year. It initially ran tests to turn it into an exclusive feature for members of its free SkyMiles rewards program. However, it seems the company will expand access to more customers. Perhaps Delta would solve Wi-Fi connectivity problems in its planes.

How would Delta In-Flight Wi-Fi Improve?

Other airlines have provided in-flight internet access for many years. However, they are usually slow and unreliable. Delta is unlikely to fix that issue for its planes, but it could provide consistent connectivity options.  As a result, customers would easily tell if they could connect to the internet and how much they should pay for the service.
